The Friends of Mellows Park is a group of local residents brought together through an initiative of the London Borough of Sutton Leisure Services Department. The committee of The Friends are all volunteers who give their time freely.

What is the purpose?
- To raise awareness of the need to look after our local park.
- To try to improve the park in consultation with members.
- To raise funds for a new recreation ground so children can play in a safe and secure environment.
